Cyprus live in one place. CYPRNews has launched cameras from all regions of the island.

Is there snow in Troodos yet? What's the sea like at Nissi Beach? Is the sun shining over Paphos and the sky truly clear in Limassol? Now you can find out without leaving home. CYPRNews has launched a new website with webcams from all regions of Cyprus.

We've gathered views from beaches, cities, coastlines, and mountain villages in one place. Cameras are categorized by region, and each region also displays current temperature and weather information. The site is free to access and requires no registration.

Cameras from all regions of Cyprus

The new CYPRNews website covers six key areas of the island:

• Troodos,
• Famagusta region,
• Larnaca,
• Limassol,
• Paphos,
• Nicosia.

There's no need to search through multiple websites or open separate pages in different languages. Simply select the region you're interested in to navigate to the available previews.

Ayia Napa and Protaras beaches before departure

In the Famagusta region, you can visit popular beaches in Ayia Napa, Protaras, and the surrounding area. Among the available locations are: Nissi Beach, Fig Tree Bay, Kapparis Beach and Vyzakia Beach.

This type of preview can be useful before a trip to the seaside. The camera allows you to check whether the sky is overcast, what the coastline looks like, and whether there are already many people on the beach.

It does not replace the official forecast or rescue information, but shows the actual conditions in a specific location.

Troodos, Pera Pedi and Vavatsinia

We've prepared a separate section for the mountains. It includes cameras showing, among other things, Troodos, Pera Pedi and Vavatsinia.

In winter, this will be one of the easiest ways to check whether snow has actually appeared in the Troodos Mountains and what the roads and surrounding areas are like. During other months, the preview can help you assess cloud cover, visibility, and conditions before heading out on a trail or to one of the villages.

The difference between coastal and mountain weather can be dramatic. Limassol may be sunny, while Troodos is shrouded in clouds, fog, or heavy rainfall.

Limassol, Paphos and Larnaca on screen

Limassol cameras show the Mediterranean Sea, the Pissouri area and the city panorama seen from Fasouli.

In the Paphos region, views from Kato Paphos, Polemi, and Tsada are available. This allows for comparisons between coastal conditions and those further from the sea and at higher altitudes.

Larnaca's cameras cover the coastal part of the city and Oroklini. They can help you quickly check cloud cover, visibility, and general conditions in the region.

The website also includes a link to the current image from Nicosia.

Cameras and current weather in one place

Each region displays the current temperature and a brief overview of weather conditions. Weather data allows for immediate comparisons between different parts of the island.

So you can check whether it is warmer in Paphos or Larnaca, what the temperature is in Troodos and whether the precipitation visible on the camera corresponds to the current weather data.

We continue to publish the full forecast, precipitation radar, weather warnings and conditions for individual cities on the separate CYPRNews weather page.

When is it worth using cameras?

A preview can help before you go:

• to the beach,
• to the Troodos Mountains,
• for a walk along the seaside promenade,
• to a town located in another region,
• for a trip during changeable weather,
• to a popular tourist location.

Cameras are especially useful on days when localized rainfall or thunderstorms are forecast. The weather can then look completely different in Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca, and Ayia Napa.

The preview allows you to see the situation at your chosen location, but it shouldn't be the sole basis for travel decisions. The image may be delayed, temporarily unavailable, or not show the entire surroundings.

You can access the cameras directly from the CYPRNews homepage. A new tile has appeared in the "Shortcuts" section. LIVE cameras.

This eliminates the need to remember a separate address. Simply visit CYPRNews and select cameras from the menu or shortcuts on the home page.

We will be adding more locations

The current version includes the island's most important regions and several previews. However, this isn't the end of the site's development.

If new, stable and publicly available broadcasts from Cypriot towns, beaches or mountains appear, we will gradually add them to our list.

We want the cameras to become a practical addition to the weather forecast and allow you to see what's really happening in different parts of the island in just a few moments.
