Kaja Paschalska in Cyprus. The "Klan" star performed in Limassol
Kaja Paschalska arrived in Cyprus in January 2020. The actress and singer, known to millions of Poles primarily as Ola Lubicz from "Klan," came to Limassol and performed during the 28th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
It's an interesting piece of history, even from today's perspective. Two years later, Tomasz Stockinger, her father from the series, appeared at the Cypriot Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. However, Paschalska had been on the island earlier – and photos of the event have survived.

On January 12, 2020, the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity also played in Cyprus.
This was the third year of the Cypriot WOŚP headquarters, but the scale of the event was much larger. A single, pan-Cypriot headquarters organized the finals in four cities: Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos, and Ayia Napa.
The Polish audience was accompanied by a group of artists from Poland. The Polish Press Agency (PAP) listed Kaja Paschalska, Szymon Wydra, Eliza Wietrzyńska, Karolina Leszko, and Łukasz Jędryś among them.

The preserved photos from the finale show the stage, the characteristic setting of the 28th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, and the date of January 12, 2020. Today, they are not only a souvenir of the event, but also an interesting document of the presence of one of the most recognizable Polish actresses in Cyprus.

Not only the actress from "Klan"
For many viewers, Kaja Paschalska remains, above all, Ola Lubicz.
She has been associated with the series "Klan" since 1997. FilmPolski reports that she has played Aleksandra Lubicz since the production began airing. Over the years, she has also appeared in other series, including "Hotel 52," "Bulionery," and "Świat według Kiepskich."
From the beginning of her career, Paschalska also developed a second artistic path.
She is a vocalist, and her debut album was released in 2001. During the same period, she won the Anna Jantar Award during the Debuts competition at the Polish Song Festival in Opole.
Her musical activity meant that participation in the Cypriot finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity was not limited solely to the presence of a famous television actress.
She could also appear on stage as a vocalist.
The TV series father arrived two years later
The Cypriot story of Paschalska has another interesting detail.
In "Klan" her series father is Paweł Lubicz, who has been played by Tomasz Stockinger for years.
The two also collaborated on musical projects outside of the show. In 2005, they recorded a cover of Seweryn Krajewski's song "Pogoda na szczęścia." Kaja Paschalska's official website commemorates this duet as a milestone in her musical career.
Two years after Paschalska's Cypriot visit, Stockinger also flew to Limassol.
In 2022, he was a guest at the 30th anniversary Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, and during his stay he also visited the Polish School in Cyprus.
In this way, the father and daughter in the series also have separate, although very similar, Cypriot stories.
Four cities played together
The 2020 final was also special for the Polish community living on the island.
For the first time, events took place simultaneously in four Cypriot cities. In addition to artistic performances, there were fairs, workshops, children's games, raffles, auctions, and GOCC merchandise.
Invited guests appeared in various parts of the island.
In Larnaca, one of them was Piotr Kucharski. Łukasz Jędryś and Szymon Wydra were also linked with the Cypriot final.
Paschalska was therefore among quite a large group of Polish artists who, thanks to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, found their way to Cyprus.
From Warsaw to the stage in Limassol
Today, photos from that final have additional value.
They aren't just another photograph of a star taken on the red carpet or at a television premiere. They capture a specific moment in Polish life in Cyprus.
An actress appeared on stage in Limassol, whom many of the event participants knew from television since childhood.
At the same time, for Kaja Paschalska herself, this performance was no accident. Music has been an important part of her career for years.
That is why her Cypriot story fits well into the series about Polish artists who came to the island not only for holidays.
Sometimes a concert brought them here. Sometimes a music video set. Other times a Polish community event.
In January 2020, Kaja Paschalska was brought to Limassol by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
