Justyna Zielska was returning to Cyprus. And not just for concerts.
Justyna Zielska, best known to viewers for her role as Jolka in the series "First Love," has visited Cyprus several times. Her subsequent visits have been quite diverse – from a visit to the Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, through a private vacation, to a performance celebrating National Independence Day.
The most interesting trace of one of these trips remains her own social media. Zielska saved a featured Instagram story dedicated to her stay on the island. This allows her to revisit Cyprus years later, photographing it herself and sharing it with her followers.
First she came on the occasion of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity
One of Justyna Zielska's first visits was related to the Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity organized in Paphos.
The actress arrived with Jakub Zdrójkowski. Patryk Cebulski, who had previously visited the island with Zdrójkowski and Chris Cugowski, also returned to Cyprus.
For Zielska, it was an opportunity not only to participate in a Polish community event, but also to get to know the island better for the first time.
Her connection with the Cypriot Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) didn't end with that stay. In 2024, she and Jakub Zdrójkowski donated the opportunity to spend a day filming "First Love" with them for auction. The proceeds from the auction benefited the Cypriot Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) fundraiser.
Then she returned to Cyprus privately
Her next trip was completely different. Justyna Zielska chose Cyprus again, this time for a private getaway.
This particular stay was particularly well-documented by the actress herself. She posted numerous photos and short videos from the island on social media, some of which she later saved to featured Stories on her profile.
Today, this recording serves as an interesting testament to her journey. We're not watching a pre-packaged tourism campaign or promotional material for an event. It's simply Cyprus as seen by someone who came here to relax and hand-picked the shots she wanted to share with her followers.
In the case of our entire series, such footage is particularly compelling. It demonstrates not only that a famous person was on the island, but also that they found their stay interesting enough to regularly report on it on their social media.
Another return to the stage
Private holidays did not end Justyna Zielska's Cypriot story either.
The actress returned to the island for the National Independence Day celebrations. This time, she was among those performing for the Polish audience.
The event was also attended by Maciej Kulhawik, an illusionist performing as the "King of Wrocław." This wasn't his only contact with Cyprus either – the artist also returned to the island during other trips, as confirmed by his own social media.
Zielska had the opportunity to experience Cyprus in at least three different ways: as an accompanying person during a large Polish community event, during a private holiday, and later as one of the people performing for local Poles.
Viewers know her from "First Love"
Justyna Zielska began working in front of the camera as a child. Her filmography includes "The Ladies of Dulskie," "The Crown of Kings," "Professional Secret," "Father Mateusz," "Daddies," and "Black Daisies."
However, it was her role as Jolanta "Jolka" Tomczak in "First Love"She has been a part of the series since 2021, and her character has gone from being a minor character to being part of one of the production's developing storylines.
The aforementioned auction for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity in Cyprus was also related to "First Love".
Cyprus to come back to
In Justyna Zielska's case, it's hard to speak of a single, random visit. The island has appeared in her life on various occasions and at various times.
The private return is particularly interesting. After exploring Cyprus for an event, the actress decided to visit again, this time without a concert or professional pretext, and later returned here once more for a Polish event.
Her preserved Instagram stories remain the best evidence of those vacation memories. For those just considering their own trip, they can also serve as simple inspiration: an island someone first discovers through chance can later become a place they choose to return to.
The material was prepared on the basis of public materials by Justyna Zielska, information from Polsat Television, archival materials regarding events related to the Polish community in Cyprus and Cypr24.
