It is the beginning of May 2021 that we can safely indicate as the date of Dawid Kwiatkowski's Cypriot stay.
We don't have to rely on speculation or past fan reports. The strongest evidence comes from the artist himself.
On May 9, 2021, a post from Cyprus appeared on his official Instagram profile. In it, Kwiatkowski said goodbye to the island and clearly suggested that he would gladly return.
He arrived shortly after the finale of "The Voice Kids"
The Cypriot trip came at an intense period in Kwiatkowski's career.
The finale of the fourth season of "The Voice Kids" took place on April 17, 2021. Aleksander Klembalski, along with his team, reached the final round of the program. The finale itself was watched by millions of viewers.
A few weeks later Kwiatkowski was already in Cyprus.
The trip provided an opportunity to rest after months of television recordings, but at the same time, something very important was starting to happen in his musical career.
"Without You" was growing while Kwiatkowski was in Cyprus
In February 2021, Dawid Kwiatkowski released "Bez Ciebie." The song heralded a new phase of his career and a subsequent album titled simply "Dawid Kwiatkowski." The official music video was released on February 16.
By the beginning of May, it was already clear that the song had become a radio hit.
And this is where an interesting Cypriot thread comes into play.
Open FM reported at the time that Kwiatkowski was resting in Cyprus and it was from there that he informed his fans about the song's successIn the last week of April, "Bez Ciebie" topped the radio charts, and in the following week it was the most frequently played Polish song among those mentioned in this material.
The artist did not hide his surprise.
So, from his holiday trip, he watched as one of the most important singles in his career to date was becoming increasingly popular in Poland.
Cyprus found itself at an important moment in his career
From today's perspective, this convergence is even more interesting.
"Without You" wasn't a fleeting radio success. The song was ranked #1 in the annual charts of the Association of Audio-Video Producers. 12th place among the most frequently played songs on Polish radio stations in all of 2021Only a few Polish productions made it into the top twenty.
2021 itself was a breakthrough year for Kwiatkowski in another respect as well.
In the fall, he released the album "Dawid Kwiatkowski," consciously launching the next phase of his career. In later interviews, he emphasized that he wanted to, in a sense, reintroduce himself to the public and move away from the image that had accompanied him since his teenage years.
A few months earlier, when the first song heralding this change was gaining popularity, he was spending time in Cyprus.
This time it's not a concert, but a private trip.

Kwiatkowski did not just write that the holidays were over.
He said goodbye to the island directly and added: "until next time".
We don't know if he was already planning another visit at that point, so there's no reason to suggest so.
However, the very way in which he summed up his stay shows that Cyprus made a good impression on him.
Kwiatkowski rested and his song worked in Poland
This is probably the best summary of the whole story.
While Dawid Kwiatkowski was spending the May days in Cyprus, his new song was appearing on the radio more and more often in Poland.
The news of this success reached him on the island.
A few days later, he said goodbye to Cyprus with his own Instagram post.
And "Bez Ciebie" was just getting started. By the end of 2021, the single was among the most frequently played songs on Polish radio.
That's why Dawid Kwiatkowski's Cypriot stay is more interesting than it might seem at first.
These are not just a few holiday photos of the famous singer.
Cyprus appeared in his story at the very moment when one of the most important stages of his musical career was beginning.
