Damian Kordas in Cyprus. The MasterChef winner showed off the island to his followers.

Damian Kordas spent the beginning of May 2021 in Cyprus. The winner of the fourth season of "MasterChef" left several posts on his Instagram following his trip, showing his followers his time on the island. Among the places visited were the Paphos area and one of the most iconic landmarks on the west coast – the EDRO III wreck in Peyia.

Four years later, the story of "MasterChef" in Cyprus received a new chapter. This time, three contestants arrived on the island at the same time, standing around the grills during a Polish community picnic.

Damian Kordas in Cyprus. His own accounts remain.

We do not have to learn about Damian Kordas's whereabouts from random people.

He left the trail himself.

In early May 2021, several more posts from Cyprus appeared on his official Instagram account. Thanks to them, it is now possible to recreate at least part of his stay on the island.

It is Kordas's own materials that are the most important source for this story.

This was not the departure of a person who was just starting to appear in the media.

Kordas had already achieved the greatest culinary success of his career.

Winner of the fourth edition of "MasterChef"

Damian Kordas won the fourth edition of the Polish "MasterChef"After the program, he remained involved in culinary arts, creating cookbooks, online materials, and his own projects.

Over time, his activities extended far beyond television itself.

Therefore, his Cypriot journey has another interesting dimension for our series.

Kordas was one of the first recognizable participants of the Polish "MasterChef" whose stay in Cyprus can be well documented.

Damian Kordas at the famous EDRO III

One of the most characteristic places immortalized during his stay was EDRO III wreck.

The ship is located near a rocky coast in the area Sea Caves in Peyia, near Paphos. The vessel ran aground on rocks in 2011 and remained offshore.

Over time, the rusty hull became one of the most recognizable landmarks in western Cyprus.

EDRO III lies just a few dozen meters from the shore, allowing you to view the massive ship without having to set sail.

No wonder the place attracts photographers and tourists.

It also attracted Damian Kordas.

Among his Cypriot publications, this material is particularly valuable. It doesn't depict an anonymous hotel or beach, which could be located in any country.

It shows a place clearly associated with western Cyprus.

Cyprus Through the Lens of Kordas

His report from the island did not end with one entry.

Subsequent publications appeared within a few days of each other, revealing that Cyprus was more than just a short stopover or a one-day visit.

Kordas regularly shared his whereabouts with his followers.

And it is these own publications that are the best testimony to his presence on the island.

There is no need to add a story about an official visit or a professional project if we do not have such information.

In May 2021, Kordas was in Cyprus and showed this stay to his followers.

Four years later, the next MasterChefs arrived

However, the Cypriot history of the "MasterChef" participants did not end with Damian Kordas.

Four years later, something much bigger happened.

On May 4, 2025, they appeared in Cyprus Kuba Tomaszczyk, Joanna Szymanowska and Tomasz Marczewski.

This time it wasn't about a private stay.

All three of them came to Kelokedara, where during the Polish community picnic on the occasion of the May 3rd Constitution Day, she stood by large grills and cooked for the event participants. Check it out here.

From Kordas to the next winners

The juxtaposition of both stories creates an interesting picture.

In 2021, Cyprus is visited by Damian Kordas, winner of the fourth edition of the program.

Four years later he appears here Kuba Tomaszczyk, another winner of "MasterChef".

She comes with him Joanna Szymanowska, also winner of the main title.

Next to them, he works at the grill. Tomasz Marczewski, one of the most remembered participants of season 12.

In this way, the connection between "MasterChef" and Cyprus ceases to be a single curiosity.

Over the past few years, the island has been visited by representatives of various editions of one of the most popular culinary programs in Poland.

First there was Damian Kordas

Each of these stays looked different.

Kordas showed off Cyprus during a private trip and left his own Instagram story afterwards.

Tomaszczyk, Szymanowska and Marczewski later arrived for a specific purpose – to cook at an event for the local Polish community.

However, they are united by a program that paved the way for them to become nationally recognized.

And Cyprus.

That is why in the history of famous Poles visiting the island Damian Kordas deserves his own place not only as a popular chef and TV personality.

It is also part of an interesting Cypriot arc on MasterChef, which received a much larger sequel a few years later.

And one of the best traces of his stay remain the photos taken at the distinctive wreck of the EDRO III in Peyia.
