Labor market

People who work remotely or run their own businesses often find it very easy to find work in Cyprus.

However, if you're planning to look for a job locally, it's worth checking the salary levels in your industry beforehand. In some sectors, salaries are lower than you might think, especially compared to rent. Many expats point to the relationship between earnings and property prices as one of the biggest challenges.

The growing Polish community

More and more Poles live in Cyprus.

There are Polish businesses, social media groups, Saturday schools, and team-building events. This makes it much easier for those moving to the island to find their feet in the new place.
