What medications can be purchased without a prescription?

Cyprus is a member of the European Union, so in many cases it is possible to have a prescription issued by a doctor in Poland or another Member State filled.

The prescription must meet the requirements for cross-border prescriptions and include all information necessary for verification by a pharmacist. If a given medication is not available under the same brand name as in Poland, the pharmacist may suggest an equivalent containing the same active ingredient.
