Adam Asanov: "I love Cyprus." Piersi singer visited the island
Adam Asanov, lead singer of the band Piersi, was also among the Polish artists who visited Cyprus in 2026. On his official profile, he posted a photo taken at the Bridge of Love with the short comment: "I love Cyprus." In response to a follower's question, he also confirmed the location where the photo was taken.
Asanov's stay coincided with preparations for a Polish event planned in Larnaca. His performance at Club Deep on Finikoudes Street was scheduled for March 7th, but the concert was ultimately canceled and never took place. CYPRNews confirms the cancellation based on its own editorial findings.

"I love Cyprus"
In Asanov's case, there's no need to guess what impression the island made on him. The musician put it bluntly.
In a video posted on Facebook, he showed himself at the iconic Love Bridge. When one observer asked if this was indeed the location, the singer replied in the affirmative.
It's one of the most recognizable landmarks on the east coast and a popular stopover when exploring the Ayia Napa area. For Asanov, the photo also became a public confirmation of his Cypriot sojourn.
The concert in Larnaca was planned
A few weeks earlier, promotion for a special trip to Cyprus to celebrate Women's Day had begun. The program was to include a performance by Adam Asanov and the Pan Bałkanica project. The artist himself promoted the trip, which included dates March 6–9.
The concert is scheduled for March 7, 2026 at Club Deep in Larnaca, on the Finikoudes promenade. In public announcements, Asanov was introduced as the lead singer of Piersi, and the event was supposed to combine rock and Balkan sounds.
Ultimately, however, the concert was canceled. Therefore, the artist's visit this year should not be confused with the performance that actually took place on the island – the planned event did not take place.

Adam "Asan" Asanov is the current vocalist of the band Piersi. The band's official website lists him as the band's vocalist.
He joined Piersie in 2013, and his voice is credited with one of the band's later biggest hits, "Bałkanica." Asanov is also a composer and lyricist.
This year's visit to Cyprus did not end with the concert previously planned for Larnaca. Instead, a private record of the artist's stay remained, along with his unequivocal declaration regarding the island: "I love Cyprus."
